OUR STAFF

Rosemary McKeon – Physiotherapist

Rosemary graduated from the University of Qld with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and has extensive experience in treating musculoskeletal injuries. She worked initially at Royal Brisbane Hospital gaining broad experience in many fields of orthopaedics, sports injuries and manipulative physiotherapy.

She has been working in private practice for many years and regularly attends conferences to keep up-to-date with the latest research.

She has developed a special interest in treating lymphoedema in patients recovering from breast cancer.

She manages to find time for golf and juggling family life and work.

Georgia McKeon- Physiotherapist

Georgia is currently on maternity leave.

Georgia completed her studies at ACU where she gained valuable experience in musculoskeletal, neurological, geriatric and paediatric physiotherapy. With a longstanding background in sport, she is passionate about helping people of all backgrounds and in particular athletes returning to play.

Georgia has special interests in:
• sports injuries
• falls prevention
• sports specific fitness & strengthening

Kylie Garlick – Physiotherapist

Kylie is currently on maternity leave.

Kylie completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree at the Australian Catholic University. She is a passionate sportsperson, and has been involved in Gymnastics and various Queensland and national representative Volleyball teams over a long and rewarding playing and coaching career. Her love of sports and working with elite athletes, as well as her desire to help others, inspired her to study physiotherapy.
When treating, Kylie likes to utilise manual therapy, education, and exercise prescription to tailor each treatment to the client’s goals. She enjoys working with sports related injuries, women’s health patients, and strength and conditioning.
As a certified Clinical Pilates instructor, Kylie also takes our one-on-one reformer pilates sessions!

Florencia Barker– Massage Therapist

Florencia is a registered Remedial Massage therapist with a Diploma from Swinburne University in Victoria. With 18 years of experience in the massage industry she has an extensive knowledge of the human body, biomechanics and different conditions. She has worked in a variety of clinical set ups, including her own practice, working alongside GPs and Naturopaths. She has also been part of Physiotherapy Centres in Brisbane for 5 years. Florencia has formal accredited qualifications with a Diploma in Remedial Massage and is committed to ongoing professional development. With a strong combination of remedial and sports techniques, she is able to help patients to enjoy better quality of life, prevent injuries and rehabilitation.

Rebecca Belov – Physiotherapist

Rebecca graduated in 2011 and has worked as a physio across hospital, occupational rehab and private practice settings for many years. She uses a combination of manual therapy, exercise and education as well as dry needling for her treatments.

Rebecca has a particular interest in the treatment of neck pain and associated injuries!
